Vessel Walkthrough
"Hairy Dog" sleeps 6 in two staterooms plus companionway berths. There is one owners and one guest head. The salon and galley are on the same level. The companionway is offset to port and accesses guest head master stateroom companionway berths and forward cabin.
Salon
The bright and open salon is accessed via sliding door offset to port for maximum use of space inside. The salon is trimmed in matched high gloss teak throughout. The windshield is glass and lets in plenty of ambiant light. To port is the ice machine sofa with storage below and behind and separate refrigerator and freezer with stainless steel liners. Across to starboard is the entertainment center dinette with chart inlay and full galley forward. The galley is located forward to starboard with the refrigeration located to port. All appliances are located neatly concealed beneath the countertop or teak paneling. Companion Way
Moving below via the companionway there is a day head to port and access to master starboard. There are two companion way berths to port with plenty of storage outboard as well as below the lower berth. Forward of the berths is a hanging locker & drawer storage.
Master Stateroom
The master stateroom is located amidship to starboard. The bunks are arranged in an over and under configuration with plenty of drawer storage located beneath each bunk. The mirrored vanity is located adjacent to the access to the ensuite head. Also a full length hanging locker is located just forward of the bunks. Guest Stateroom
The forward stateroom is configured in a V-Berth configuration. Below each berth is a bank of drawers. Outboard of each bunk there is shelf storage with sliding teak doors to conceal and contain contents. There is access to the rope/chain locker forward. The ships safe is located low in the ships forpeak.This stateroom also contains a completely concealed head with wash basin and full length hanging locker. Fly Bridge
The flybridge is classic Rybovich. The helm pod is centerline and feature single lever controls flush mounted state of the art electronics and fantastic visibility. The port and starboard bench seats open for easy access storage and each features forward and aft facing seating with backs. The main engine displays are conveniently located molded in the hardtop as well as 9/0 teaser reels that are concealed by a removable door in the hardtop. Engine /Mechanical Equipment
The "HAIRY DOG" was repowered in 2003 with MTU 8V2000 rated @ 900hp. During the repower the entire engine room was stripped out of all equipment wiring and existing fiberglass and replaced with new. Today it shows as you would expect from a new Rybovich. Crisp clean and very functional. Palm Beach Power installed new long block port side March 2009. Remarks
The HAIRY DOG is hull #68 and her construction was overseen by Tommy Rybovich. Since her completion she has only had 4 owners who each updated and maintained her to the highest standard. Currently in turn key condition in all aspects. The MTU 8V2000 have about 850 hours and give her a cruise of 27 knots burning only 60 GPH. HAIRY DOG will not disappoint in any way.
