Introduction
This [removed phone] Monk is in great condition. She is currently owned by her original owner. It has a great two stateroom / two head layout very spacious for extended cruising. Owner is ready to move up and looking for offers!She was built in Nova Scotia and is very sea worthy.Original Owner! New sea water pump added July 2011. Generator has 698 hours.Owner just completed wax job and all varnish work professionally done February 2011.
Vessel Walkthrough
The Monk 36 offers a great interior layout which gives the feel of a much larger boat. Lots of storage and ventilation contribute greatly to this and make for very comfortable living accommodations. Whether you are a weekend cruiser or a liveaboard the Monk 36 will more than meet your expectations. The Main Salon is most spacious and features an L-shaped settee with adjustable dining table that converts to a double bunk. The settee and table are mounted on a custom raised platform which provides greater visibility and additional storage. Two full width drawers are built under the settee. The Galley is L-shaped to starboard. It has a double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water; a 3-burner propane stove w/oven & a stand-up refrigerator with freezer. Lockers and drawers provide excellent storage. The forward stateroom has a large V-berth hanging locker and ensuite head with vanity and hand held shower. A large hatch and four opening ports provide ventilation. The owners cabin is very spacious. There is a queen size bed enormous hanging lockers and bin storage. The head features a stall shower and vanity. There is a Parr electric head. Again ventilation is abundant with a large hatch and four windows.
