Vessel Walkthrough
This vessel was purchased by a yachtsman who wanted a motor yacht with the ability to maintain a cruising speed of 15-17 knots in less than ideal conditions offshore. Sharing the same hull as the 58 Bertram convertible MISS ELAIN-E-US was given a 12 extension in 1998 along with rebuilding or replacing most of her equipment as well as adding 1000 gallons of extra fuel a new generator bow thruster and much more at a cost of over $[removed phone].00. The vessel sleeps 6 in 3 staterooms each with its' own head and shower. The original layout had a washer and dryer in the fore cabin. They were moved to the wheel house and a custom made stall shower and head were installed in their place. The present owner has made many more improvements and invested an additional $75000.00.This is a must see vessel if you are looking for a tough but comfortable tri cabin sea boat with the ability to make long passages at a good speed here it is. To build a similar vessel today would be in excess of 2 Million dollars. All filters and oils in all four engines (2 mains and 2 gensets) have been changed in January 2010 as well as the baskets in the A/C intakes.
Guest Stateroom
This forward stateroom is suitable for guests or crew. It enjoys the same level of finish as the rest of the yacht. To port are over/under berths with bedspreads and matching pillows. Above the upper berth is an opening screened porthole and a carpeted hull liner. Each berth has a reading light. Below the lower berth are two drawers. To starboard are the new SMX II air conditioning controls two lighted hanging lockers and three drawers below. A hatch in the sole accesses the bilge area. Aft is a four step teak ladder to the screened deck hatch overhead. Further aft is the entry door with a full size dressing mirror on the inside of the door. The overhead and bulkheads are finished in tan Ultra suede. Just before the entry door is the en-suite head. This yacht is unique as it has a full size stall shower in the location of the usual washer/dryer. The head has an electric Raritan water closet with timer. There is a molded countertop with a molded fiberglass sink two sliding door storage cabinets below and two mirrored sliding medicine cabinet doors above. Next above is a larger set of mirrored sliding doors with storage within. The stall shower has a light and a bi-fold tempered glass door. Also in the head area are an A/C vent exhaust fan and 110 volt lighting.
VIP Stateroom
This spacious VIP cabin has a three sided walk-around tapered queen berth in lieu of the standard twin berths. A full width mirror is just above the headboard. There is a large drawer at the foot of the berth with additional storage accessed under the mattress. On either side of the queen berth are small nightstands with nice lighting. Forward of the berth is a decent sized hanging locker. Forward of the queen berth is the private access to the en-suite head and Raritan Atlantes water closet with a programmable timed flush cycle. The vanity has two sliding door cabinets below a cultured marble countertop with a molded sink and two sliding mirrored medicine cabinet doors above. The stall shower is very roomy with very good water pressure.
Master Stateroom
he Master Stateroom can only be described as huge with its centerline fully walk-around king size berth. Upon entering on the port side there is a hanging locker/storage locker. Next aft is a mica countertop with four cabinet doors three drawers a flip up lighted vanity with stool and a mirrored panel stretching the entire length above. There are two opening Plexiglas windows as well as a fixed viewing port behind the drapes. The king berth is centerline and fully walk-around on all four sides. There are three large drawers on both the port and starboard sides. A control panel at the head of the berth houses reading light switches a stairway light switch overhead lights on a dimmer stereo volume control and the ships' alarm system for fire and high water. Also a switch to start the generator should shore power shut down.Immediately aft of the berth is a four door hanging locker that stretches the entire beam of the yacht. This closet is bigger than most closets found on yachts in the 90 to 100 ft range. This is very popular with the Lady on Board as there can never be too much closet space! There are shelves at the port and starboard ends. To starboard going forward is a countertop with four very large drawers below and a table lamp with a mirrored panel above. Forward is the access to the head and the entertainment area with a TV and a pull out desk with drawer and lockable storage area. There are two large drawers below. The sole is carpeted; the wall coverings and headliner are Ultra suede. This boat has unmatched storage for any vessel in its size
Master Head
The Master head has teak parquet sole. The toilet is a Raritan Atlantes with a computerized flush control. The vanity has cultured marble top with molded sink. Below are two sliding doors for storage. Above are two sets of mirrored sliding doors the upper one concealing the opening Plexiglas port. There is a mirrored linen locker with two sliding doors in the forward bulkhead. The tub has a sliding enclosure a light and a wall mounted shower fixture.
Aft Deck/ Aft Salon
The upper salon is the best spot on the yacht. This aft deck/salon is what most yachts lack. This salon is where you and your guests will spend most of your time. The windows provide a spectacular view and make you feel as though youre on vacation/Key West style even when tied to a dock or cruising up and down the Intracoastal Waterway. This spacious salon is fully air conditioned. This is the entertainment area with a 40" AKAI TV RCA VCR Pioneer audio/video stereo receiver Pioneer 6 disc Cd changer with built in Sony speakers; all receptive to the new Satellite TV TRAK system which feeds all 4 TVs aboard. Broker's Remarks
A marine surveyor a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors conducted a survey on 16 December 2009 on this yacht. Its purpose was for evaluating its' present condition and estimating its' fair market value and replacement costs. There were no "A" deficiencies. "B" deficiencies consisted of tags on the fire extinguishers and one "C" comment about the deck fuel caps. Quote: the vessel was found to be in above average condition and the low number of findings is reflective of that". After consideration of the reliability of the date the extent of the necessary adjustments and condition of the vessel it is the surveyors' opinion that the Fair Market Value of "Miss Elaine E Us" is $[removed phone].00.
